All American History

Product: All American History is a comprehensive American history course. It incorporates geography and research as well.

Dates Used: 2007-2008

Likes: I liked the comprehensiveness of this course. I also liked that we were able to incorporate geography into our history study. There were good activities for each lesson and I especially liked the research component. Even for my younger students it was good for them to learn to search out more info on a topic. There is also a good list of 'living' books to complement the study and give it 'life'.

Our family came away feeling much more patriotic and having a much more thorough knowledge of the founding of our country.

Dislikes: Some of the lessons were written at a deeper level than my younger students could understand. Given that the curriculum is written for 4th-8th graders that is understandable and the curriculum gave ideas for adjusting for that.
