MFW Takes the Stress out of Homeschooling

I had 5 older children plus an almost kindergartener and decided I needed a unit study that had most of the planning done for me.

I bought kindergarten and the Geography curriculum from My Father's World. It was the best year I had ever had homeschooling!

Three of the children were in Geography together. The lesson plans were well laid out, but easy to adapt to my children's different ages. The children loved it! I loved it! Suddenly school was something they begged to do. (What a pleasant change!) The most important thing was that they were actually learning while they were having fun.

We have continued with the MFW program of studying history chronologically this year. It's a little more challenging in content. Still the information is presented in such a way as to challenge my 7th grader, and fascinate my 3rd grader. The only down side to this program is that access to a printer and a local library is very helpful to use it effectively.

Kindergarten was clearly spelled out, easy to use, and the only down side was that my kindergartener was so eager she never wanted to stop. She learned quickly and is in their first grade program now.
