My Father's World K

We just began using My Father's World K program, and we are loving it. It is very doable, i.e. a short school day and easy prep. But, the short lessons seem to teach the same things that used to take me 4 hours a day to teach last year with another curriculum. We have time to take field trips and study a foreign language. My 2 year old tags along, so it is family friendly.

The best part of MFW is not even the curriculum. It is people who use it. They have such a sweet Christ-like spirit on the message board. It is like you become part of a family, where you honestly can get constant support when you need it.

I look forward to future years when the students will read the bible through using MFW. In a time when academics can make bible study go on the back burner for many homeschoolers, it is exciting to know the bible will be an integral part of our school day.

Oh yah- and my kids like all the fun- get your hands dirty- hands on projects too! Ok- and Mommmy even likes them too. :)
