Mystery of History Review

by Sheila
(Millers Falls, MA)

Product: Mystery of History
Subject: History
Levels Used: Volume 1
Dates Used: June 1, 2008 through present

Likes: I love this history curriculum because it incorporates Biblical and world history. I am able to teach all three of my children (grades 4,2 & K) the same thing.

The curriculum is broken down nicely so its not to much information at once and each of my children can do different activities to show what they have learned. The author gives different ideas for each lesson and at the end of the week you get to work on a timeline so that at the end of the year you can look and see all that happened and when.

It's great if you are a visual learner.

Dislikes: The only drawback that I have about this curriculum is the map part. You are suppose to do different activities using maps. You are given blank maps in the back of the book but its hard to find maps to help label the blank ones.
