Amanda Bennett has been creating unit studies for over 18 years, and now has two different series available, The Unit Study Adventure and Download N Go.
The Unit Study Adventure series offers an in depth look at dozens of topics from horses, to trees, to lighthouses, using the Internet as the primary resource. Each four-week study is split into two parts, one for younger children and one for older students, so it can be successfully used for grades K-12.
Download N Go T unit studies feature daily lesson plans, worksheets and lapbook instructions. Each individual unit supplies a week of concentrated hands-on learning for grades K-4th. The Download N Go series has a variety of topics to choose from, such as chocolate, roller coasters or Davy Crockett. The units require no prep time, and are great as a fun break from a standard curriculum or for develving deeper into an area of interest.
