Homeschooling Preschool

I am often asked why I am homeschooling preschool. The truth is, I don't want to miss out on a single moment with my child.

There are many great reasons to homeschool preschool. Preschoolers have a natural curiosity and a desire to learn. Turning your home into a learning environment is the one of the best ways to home school preschool.

Here are some additional tips for teaching preschoolers.

A Learning Environment

I am amazed at what my daughter can learn without formal instruction. Preschoolers are little sponges who thirst for information. Many subjects can be taught during the course of daily life. Here are some guidelines for teaching:

• preschool reading,
• preschool math,
• preschool writing,
• preschool science,
• preschool art, and
• preschool physical education.

Adding simple preschool activities to your day is a fun way to reinforce concepts your children are learning. In addition, preschool educational games make learning fun. Here are some ideas for:

• preschool alphabet activity,
• preschool math activity,
• preschool writing activity,
• preschool science activity, and
• preschool art activity.

And just to refresh your memory, here are the words to our favorite traditional:

• preschool songs,
• preschool action songs,
• preschool nursery rhymes, and
• preschool finger plays.
