Apples Daily Spelling Drills Curriculum Review

Apples Daily Spelling Drills for Secondary Students is a program specifically targeted to students in junior and senior high school who have not yet mastered spelling. Spelling rules are taught using basic phonics review and new spelling rules are introduced in each lesson, then reviewed in subsequent lessons.

Rules are applied by using Bible verses, sentences, crossword puzzles, fill in the blank, and the correction of spelling errors. This resource is not comprehensive, but instead covers the spelling rules most frequently misapplied by secondary students.

Apples is a consumable program, requiring each student to have his own copy of the workbook. Each lesson takes about ten minutes, and each of the two levels can be completed in about one school year.
