Illuminations, by Bright Ideas Press, is a Bible-based, chronological study of history that uses either All American History or The Mystery of History as main texts. The program is available in two levels, 3rd-8th grades and high school. Each program includes literature study guides and lesson plans for Bible, language arts, geography, history, humanities, life skills and science. Parents will need to add in their own math, grammar, and writing programs.
The program uses high-quality literature, notebooking, and other activities, and is designed to be use by multiple students at different age levels. The program is scheduled for 4 days per week, allowing one day for field trips, appointments, make up work or pursuit of other interests. It is currently available as a download or on CD.
