Real Science 4 Kids is an Intelligent Design based science curriculum designed for grades K-9. The program teaches advanced science concepts in a child-friendly manner, using engaging texts and hands-on experiments.
Chemistry, Biology and Physics programs are available for grades K-3 and grades 4-6. A Chemistry program is currently available for grades 7-9.
Each program of consist of texts, teacher manuals, and lab manuals that are meant to be used once per week for approximately ten weeks. Lessons follow a three step process of having the child read the text, perform the experiment and make the connections.
Some lab manuals and teacher manuals are available on CD-rom. Many products are now downloadable, and Gravitas Press expects to make all components of Real Science 4 Kids available as downloads in the near future.
Kogs-4-Kids, a supplemental workbook program that is available for purchase, teaches critical thinking skills and helps children connect science to other subjects.
