An Old Fashioned Education Curriculum Review

An Old Fashioned Education is a free, comprehensive program for children in K– 12th grades. The curriculum covers Bible, language arts, literature, biography/historical fiction, history, social studies, and geography, as well as civics and economics in the upper grades.

The program uses a combination of textbooks and living books that are easily found in the public domain. Parents only need to add in math and science to form a complete program. The curriculum is based on a 40 week school year, allowing 12 weeks off throughout the year. To get started, print the curriculum chart, determine which book selections would work best for your children, print the books, and begin.
