Astronauts to Zippers is a reading/language arts program that is set to music. The program relies on a systematic, multi-sensory approach to teaching phonics, using carefully selected read alouds, enrichment activities and games.
The program is straightforward and easy to use, and includes teacher texts, student texts, word and sentence cards, CD’s, a colorful wall chart, and storybooks. It teaches phonics, reading, spelling and writing, and is available in two levels - Primary for K-1st grades or Elementary for late 1st-2nd grades. The program can also be used for older children that are struggling.
