Astronauts to Zippers

We used Astronauts To Zippers, a complete reading/language arts program for beginning readers, in 2009.

This is not a very well known program and it is really a shame, because it is great.

It is a very well laid out program that includes everything I want to teach my kindergarten student. It includes a CD of songs that teach letter sounds. It includes activities that are similar to Explode The Code, but it goes way beyond ETC to include other important skills. Astronauts to Zippers includes readers too. It also teaches sight words.

My daughter really likes doing her language arts and looks forward to it.

So far, I don't have any dislikes.

I really like this program and I hope to continue using it and I will use it with my toddler too when she comes of age.
