Mastering Mathematics Curriculum Review

Mastering Mathematics is a mastery-based program with six levels, covering from about first through sixth grade. The program focuses on students learning one skill at a time and uses workbooks, manipulatives, and games to teach.

The program is self-paced and by second or third grade students should be able to use this program mostly independently. The workbooks for this program are reproducible, meaning they can be used for more than one student. The complete program includes placement tests, a Math Skill Inventory, fact wheels, flash cards, and multiple manipulatives, as well as certificates of achievement, a page protector, a Parent's manual, and one copy of each of the six workbooks.

Individual components of the program are also available; the individual titles of the program are Attacking Addition, Subduing Subtraction, Mastering Multiplication, Defeating Division, Perfecting the Point, and Finishing Fractions. There is one Parent's manual for all six levels.
