A Beka Handwriting Curriculum

by Joanne
(PA)

Learning cursive writing in K5 in this curriculum is the only thing that I do not care for. I wish that it would have the option of teaching cursive writing in grade 2 or 3. As a parent, you do not have to teach them cursive in K5, but it would be nice to have the option of having it already integrated into the curriculum (in child's workbooks, teacher's curriculum/lesson plans, etc.) if you decided to teach them cursive in the later grade of 2nd or 3rd.

I also wish they would give you the option of teaching a different writing method other than the "ball and stick", such as the "pre-cursive print".

If A Beka would offer these things, I would use it exclusively for homeschooling my children.
