A Beka Phonics K5

I just wanted to rave about the A Beka phonics system. Our daughter is five years old and I started her in the kindergarten program seven days ago. We had never before A Beka discussed vowels or the sounds they make. After one week of lessons and having learned the Ii and Uu vowel sounds she came to me and said "Mommy: the word daddy has an 'a' in it right? Because I can hear an Aa sound." I was truly amazed.

I love the program and can't really say anything negative about it other than she finds the lessons too short.
