Likes: This is a very colorful book with nice short lessons. My son produced some great papers using the writing chapters. Their way of teaching writing is very systematic and teaches the child the writing process very well. We used the teaching guide from CLP, not the BJU guide. It includes some teaching tips and the answer key. The lessons are mostly taught directly to the student.

Dislikes: There was not enough review to cement the grammar rules.
