Science - I really liked the science for kindergarten and 1st grade. It was well written and my children enjoyed the pictures and material. I used both books in one-year though. It seemed like some of the same material was in both books.

History - Both my children and I really liked the 1st grade history book - History for Little Pilgrims. It was very interesting and the teachers guide is very helpful. I used it for my 2nd grade child and Kindergarten child at the same time and they both got a lot out of it. I would definitely recommend this book for K-2.

I think the Kindergarten History book was way beyond a Kindergarten level. It did not hold my children's attention. It took me two years to go through the book and it was torture.
