CLP's Nature Readers

My middle daughters (ages 9 & 7) love Christian Liberty Press Nature Readers! They've spent many a naptime reading through these child sized books.

I've read through them and we use them in two ways. The first is simply to "hook" our kids on non-fiction. The second is to pair them with a writing program. We use them as an introduction to IEW's writing program. They are absolutely PERFECT for learning how to do keyword outlines on a paragraph and for doing rewriting/rebuilding work on sentences and paragraphs. They're inexpensive and kids like them.
