Likes: Love the approach, the layout of the letters are in good order. Love the way numbers are taught and the rhymes that helped my child remember how to write the letter. Easy to just pick up the book & write. For beginning writers the song cd is fun, but not absolutely necessary.

Dislikes: I found my son needed a little extra practice than the workbooks provided. That is easily solved by using extra paper that can be bought from them or copied from the back of the book.
