Homeschool Share and the Preschooler

Homeschoolshare.com has a wealth of materials appropriate for the preschool child. I have two very active boys who are now ages 4 & 5. We used lapbooks and units from homeschoolshare.com for the last two years and created many wonderful preschool memories together.

Some of the materials I used specifically targeted the Before Five in a Row curriculum whereas others were based on literature that is not a part of BFIAR or were theme based. There are many things that I love about this website.

First, and foremost, as a former first grade teacher, homeschoolshare.com aligns with my philosophy of learning - integrating specific skills within a context that is meaningful and hands-on. My boys loved making the lapbooks to go along with our activities and revisited them again and again (and still do!!!).

Another aspect of homeschoolshare that is incredible is that all the resources are FREE!!! Considering the quality of the materials this is an incredible bonus particularly in today’s economy. Having used lapbooks from various other websites that charged for their materials, I have to say that hands-down my children have enjoyed the homeschoolshare lapbooks the best. They are colorful, inviting, and include many hands-on activities and projects to supplement the lapbooks.

A wonderful resource to using the materials at homeschoolshare is the forum available to join. This forum provides a supportive environment to glean from fellow homeschooling moms. If you haven’t checked out the preschool materials at homeschoolshare.com, you are definitely missing out!!!
