I Can Do All Things

by Amy B.
(New York)

Product: I Can Do All Things
Subject: Art
Levels Used: Entire book
Dates Used: Sept '03 - March '05

Likes: I used this art curriculum to teach grades 1 - 5 at our homeschool co-op. It was a wonderful book to teach basic art skills to these grade levels. It includes Art appreciation.

The children were generally excited about the lessons and I received many positive comments from the moms about what their kids were learning and creating!

The book is divided into three sections, each one focusing on a different medium; colored pencils, markers, or paint. An older child could read the lesson and work independently if desired. It was easy for me to teach the lesson at the start of each art class by using a chalkboard and colored chalk.

I highly recommend "I Can Do All Things" for the elementary age because it easy to implement even if you have no art experience.
