I Can Do All Things

by Judi
(Colorado)

Product: I Can Do all Things is an art curriculum focusing on basic drawing skills with a higher emphasis on coloring and shading techniques.

Levels Used: 6-10 year old level

Dates Used: 2005,2006 and a little of 2007

Likes: This program is very simple to follow. It gives step by step instruction that any parent can follow. The kids enjoyed mixing their own colors and have continued to use this technique in whatever they are working on. The program also does a good job of teaching different art techniques such as stippling, use of stripes, etc. It helps the student think 'outside the box' in their drawing.

Dislikes: The pictures the students draw are cartoonish rather than realistic. So while they learn some good coloring techniques they do not learn how to draw an object so that it looks realistic.
