K12 History

by Kathy
(Phoenix, AZ, USA)

Product: K12
Subject: History
Levels Used: K through 4th
Dates Used: Sept. 2003 through December 2007

Likes: Was very well organized. Each lesson tells you what you need for supplies. They threw in stories to match what was being taught in history. This helped to keep the children's attention, and bring the lessons to life.

This curriculum comes with a lot of activities. As the parent, you're able to pick and choose which activities you want to do. All you need to do is make sure the children understand the objective. The art lessons follow the history lessons.

Dislikes: It taught some Bible stories, but they are taught as myth. I only quit this curriculum as it was under a Charter, and I wanted to be on my own.
