Dates Used: 2002 through the present

Likes: Comprehensive, interactive curriculum with wonderful organization and great flexibility to meet my children's individual learning styles while providing a strong academic foundation. The instruction is structured so that my children are active learners and can learn to work independently with the parent as a learning coach.

Getting all of my subjects from the same company also has the added benefit of topics being covered in several subject areas especially in literature, history and art. K12 provides a strong academic curriculum that require little preparation, so I am confident that my children are getting the education I want them to have, and I don't have to spend my free time creating and planning.

Dislikes: At the beginning of the traditional school year, the online portion and getting materials can be slow because so many people are starting at the same time.
