K12 was not for us

This is my first year homeschooling my son who is in the 2nd grade. I decided to start with K12 because it was a structured curriculum (I wasn't sure I could do this) and it was free.

Courses taken: Language Arts, Math, History, Science, Art, Music and Study Island.

Pros: I did like how it was all planned out for the year and all the materials were provided. They do have a good record keeping system. Can easily track progress and maintain attendance records.

Cons: My son did not like it after a while. Says it is not fun. Too structured. Not a lot of flexibility. Overwhelming if you get behind.

I did not like having to enter passwords repeatedly (like 2-4 times each lesson). Very disruptive. System does not work on all internet browsers that are available.
