Language Lessons for the Very Young provides a gentle instruction to language arts based on the principles of the Charlotte Mason Method.
Volumes 1 was written for grades 2 and 3, and begins teaching Language Arts once a student has mastered reading. Students learn using narration, picture study, and copywork, and are introduced to poetry, grammar, capitalization. Volume 2 was written for grades 3 and 4, and includes more practice in each of the topics introduced in Volume 1.
Each volume contains 180, 5-15 minute lessons in the form of a consumable book that includes full-color reproductions of classic paintings. Lessons are simple and require no prep time for parents.
