Levels used - 2nd - 4th grade
Dates used - about 2000-2002
Likes: Very simple workbooks. Easy for kids to sit down and do basically alone. Colorful. Kinda fun sometimes. Good lessons. Inexpensive. Easy to grab to take on the run.
Dislikes: A bit "schooly" - we are talking workbooks pages. My student had a love-hate relationship with this one, so we would used it on occasion, but not every day.
MCP Workbook - good for practicing what's been learned

Dates Used: Fall 2008- current
Likes: Starts very basic and builds confidence in student. Has little books in it to rip out and have the child review the lessons learned, as well as write their name on it. Has lessons on rhyming.
Dislikes: Can be repetitive and child doesn't always know what the picture is supposed to be. Doesn't have lessons in it (may be in a separate book-- which I don't have; I got mine at a resale so I only have the workbook.)
