Primary Language Lessons Curriculum Review
Primary Language Lessons by Emma Serl was originally published in the early twentieth century, and has been reprinted in its entirety for a new generation. Retaining its original lessons and artwork, this program is a gentle introduction to language arts for young students. Reproductions of famous artworks are used to train children in observation and discussion, as well as art appreciation. Short, imaginative lessons teach grammar usage, punctuation, memorization, recitation, letter writing, dictation and various other language arts topics. This old-fashioned drill book is compatible with the Charlotte Mason method of instruction. It requires no prep time for parents, and is suitable for students who are just beginning grammar.
