Saxon Math Review

by Carletta
(McKinney, Texas)

Product: Saxon
Subject: Math
Levels Used: Kindergarten
Dates Used: 2005-2006

Likes: I used the kindergarten level of Saxon math when my son was in preschool. The lesson plans were well laid out and easy to use. They also contained many fun games and hands on activities.

Dislikes: Although many homeschoolers love Saxon math, its K program was not a good fit for us. The concepts were below my son's level of ability, and we did not enjoy the repeated drill. We also prefer colorful workbook pages to the black and white lessons in Saxon.
