Simply Grammar

by Penny
(Louisiana)

Simply Grammar is alright. I used it with my oldest daughter, but I didn't feel that it was enough. It was very hard to use with my elementary children, so I quit using it.

The student sits beside you as you do each lesson. This is a living grammar program. You can do everything orally, so there's no need for paper and pencil. Each lesson is two to three pages long, but very simple exercises.

Each lesson includes a picture and you use the picture to do the exercises. For example in lesson 1. You look at the picture and fill in the blank. _______ cut her hair. You can fill in with "The girl" or "She." I felt that it wasn't enough, but that's just my opinion.

The pictures are really nice.
