Likes: What a gem of a book! I learned so much about the Pilgrims from reading this book, much less my children! We reread this one each year in November. It is several hundred pages long and covers the Pilgrims from life in England, to Holland, to Plymouth and beyond.

Written from a Christian perspective, it honors God and teaches my children the importance of worship.

Each chapter includes discussion questions that make this book suitable for a study by upper elementary children as well. There are black and white graphics throughout.

With my Kindergartners I read just a few chapters, but as they grow older we read more and more of the book.

Dislikes: I would enjoy color photos and a map of their journey to be included.
