Likes: I love that this is history in story form. It really made events memorable for my oldest. She enjoyed studying Egypt the most.

I liked the option to draw a picture for each story we read and write down her narration. She still goes back through her history notebook from that year!

I liked that maps were included - we learned more about how political boundaries change because we could compare maps.

Dislikes: I did not enjoy the few scripture stories included, we chose to read them from our favorite scripture reader instead. After Volume one, I read on my own the Middle Ages book (vol 2), which seemed too centered on teaching the child all about the Church of the time, which was apostate. We did not continue with the curriculum.
