Likes: This is one of my son's favorite books. He loves the stories and really retains a lot of the details given in the book. I like that it is written in "story" fashion and allows the child's mind to visualize what has happened.

The Activity Book One that goes along with it, is filled with guides for the teacher, including questions about the material covered and additional reading. There are activities, maps & drawings included allowing that "hands-on" child a chance to really learn what it was like in history.
