Product: Horizons Math
Grades used: 1-5
Likes: All 3 of my kids are so different but they all love their math books. It's bright and colorful and has "fun games" and "secret codes" to spice up all of the addition practice. I sometimes have to cross out half of a page of addition or subtraction for my youngest, who is extremely bright, but easily distracted. Otherwise it progresses at a great pace for my kids.
Dislikes: If your child is good at math, skip 4th grade. The first book (there are 2 books per year) sort of overlaps the end of 3rd grade and the second book sort of overlaps 5th grade. My daughter breezed through all of this, but with the next one I will just skip the 4th grade book and progress through 5th grade a little slower.
Overall, big thumbs up from all of us.
