Here's a description of Horizons Homeschool Curriculum from the company's website:

The Horizons lessons are brightly illustrated to extend the child’s attention span. Hands-on learning is included in every lesson through the use of manipulatives suggested in the teacher’s guide. All learning material is presented in a “spiral-learning” format where a few concepts are introduced at a time while reviewing and reinforcing previous concepts.
