Likes: Singapore Math is easy to teach, even without the Homeschool Teaching Guides, and it is colorful and appealing. They introduce "challenging" material, such as multiplication and division, early on, but in a simple way which is understandable and builds confidence. There is just the right amount of practice problems so that the child doesn't get bored or frustrated with too much work. The books are inexpensive, too!

Dislikes: If your child needs extra practice work, you will need to make up additional problems or buy another book of extra practice.
