Learning Language Arts through Literature teaches grammar, spelling, vocabulary, composition, handwriting and reading using selections from classic children's literature. Many of the books used in this program can be easily found in the public library.

Each one of the nine levels of this program consists of 36 weeks of daily lessons that will take 30-45 minutes to complete. The Blue Book and Red Book, written for 1st and 2nd grades, teach phonics, reading, and beginning language arts skills.

A scripted Teacher's Book is available for purchase to reduce planning and preparation time for parents.
