Math U See is great for all kinds of learners

Levels used - Introductory and Intermediate
Dates used - lately, but I am using the older versions on VHS

Likes:

Steve Demme is personable and good at what he does. My younger student relates to him, so we enjoy watching the videos together to learn concepts.

I love the manipulatives. They make math more real and understandable.

I like the fact that Demme reminds us to get the concepts well before moving on. In that way, my child is getting a really firm grasp of ideas.

Dislikes:

While worth the money, buying the complete newer sets would cost too much for my family. I wish I could have the DVDs. Hopefully they have improved the quality of the lessons as far as just filming goes.
