Likes:I would love to have some wise advice here but the plain truth is that I like how easy MUS seems to be. My son was dragging his feet to do math with another program that used a spiral approach to math. He got to the point of crying when it was time to do math. We found MUS and while it hasn't been a cake walk it has been so much easier.
I like that kids learn small bites at a time and have plenty of time to review those bites until they have it down pat. I have used this at the Pre-K level up to the High School level.
I love there are extra worksheets and online drills available at their website as well. Now some lessons we were able to fly right through and even skip some of the practice sheets but others we needed some "camping out" time and it was nice to have additional materials available to us I didn't have to buy.
Dislikes: I would have to say the lack of color on the worksheets. Now mind you my kids haven't complained about the lack of color or excitement on the workbook pages but the pages seem rather bland. But as long as the kids are happy I am happy.
