Likes: This curriculum has taken my math hating child and helped her enjoy math! She tried Saxon but didn't get it. After 3 years of Saxon I took her all the way back to the beginning of MUS. It has done wonders. She understands WHY she is doing what she is doing. Saxon had too much jumping around from topic to topic, instead of focusing on mastery of a concept first.

I love the manipulatives, they make the problems concrete, without being distracting toys like teddy bear counters.

I love that they have online support including a worksheet generator and online game. I like the DVD that teaches me how to present each concept!

Dislikes: The initial investment to get started. We bought the teacher's manual/dvd set, the student books, and all the manipulatives. Quite a hefty out of pocket, but totally worth it.
