Math-U-See Algebra I

We just finished up Math-U-See Algebra I. I thought this was a good program, and my son learned a lot. However, this is not a program to let your child do alone. I had to watch the DVD with him so I could explain some of the concepts.

My son also didn't appreciate the classical music, or some of the instructor's humor, but I thought it was fine. My only complaint is that in some areas he needed more review, and there are only 5 pages for each lesson, and then a test. Therefore, if he bombed a test, we had no extra worksheets for practice. I'll be using Algebra II this year.

I have not used any other levels of Math-U-See, but I will be using Pre-Algebra with my next child.
