Mystery of History is a four-volume set (Volume Four is not yet available) of chronological world history for all ages. Written as a stand-alone program for world history, each volume includes pretests, lessons, quizzes, mapping, timeline information, and age-appropriate activities, as well as memory work and semester tests. Each volume also contains information about supplemental books and films to read and watch, if desired.
The author's aim is to navigate history through the lens of God's revelation to mankind, and Mystery of History is presented from a Christian viewpoint. Volume 1 covers Creation through the Resurrection, Volume II the Early Church and the Middle Ages, and Volume III the Renaissance and Reformation. Volume IV will cover early modern times to the present day. While each volume stands alone and volumes can be completed in any order, it is recommended that they be completed sequentially.
