Likes: This curriculum is laid out to be a great hands on science curriculum for early elementary students. Similar to Story of the World, for each subject, the author recommends other books and resource. It is only by taking advantage of these that you get full benefit of the curriculum in my opinion. For young science students, this is one of the most complete science curriculums I found.

Dislikes: A lot of the (most) books recommended are out of print and hard to find, even at the library. I wish that portion of the curriculum would be updated.
