Likes: I like the way Dr, Cotter adds to previous material, yet keeps the child engaged. The Abacus is the foundation of the program. The child learns to visualize math and no finger counting is ever used.

Math card games are also a fundamental part of the program. Each day at least one game is played, this is to reinforce the skills.

Dislikes: It is assumed you will spend 20-30 minutes in direct instruction. While some days seems a lot, the pay off is so worth it.
