Spelling Power
Used: since 1999

Likes:
- I have 7 children and only 1 spelling book!
- Love the placement tests so each child is spelling at the level needed rather than based on grade level
- the 10 step study method is great for retaining material
- time is spent learning the words a child doesn't know
- words are studied until they are mastered, not just left behind because you need to go to the next lesson
- words are grouped according to phonetic sounds

Dislikes:
- it can get to be the same thing over and over...
