Teach Your Child in 100 Easy Lessons

by Penny
(Louisiana)

Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons is to be used with the child sitting right beside you. The book will give you a word, such as sat. There are dots and arrows under each letter. You slide your finger from one dot to the other as you sound out the sounds. The child has to repeat the sounds. I had one daughter that refused to sound the letters out. I had another one that did it and it worked okay, but she didn't like to sit and repeat all the sounds. It is a very good program, but it has to work for the right learning type.
