Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons

by Tracie

Product: Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons

Subject: Reading

Levels Used: I am using this book now with my youngest who is in 1st Grade and I also used this with my other two girls when they were of Kindergarten/1st Grade age, now in 5th and 8th

Dates Used: I started using it for the first time in Nov/95 with my first daughter in 2004 with my 2nd daughter and I am using it now with my 3rd daughter.

Likes: I am so thankful for this curriculum! This is the book that taught all 3 of my girls how to read. It is such an easy book to teach and is very inexpensive. My girls all liked the way the lessons are short, there is a picture with most lessons, and mostly that they could actually start reading pretty quickly after beginning the book, which was exciting for them. It gave them a sense of accomplishment.

The book starts out for a beginning reader and when you complete the book, your child is reading on a 2nd Grade Reading Level. I couldn't believe it when I bought this book that I could really teach my child to read with just one book that was only $20 and there was no stress.

Dislikes: I don't really have any.
