Apologia is currently the number 1 science program for homeschoolers. It provides young-earth creation-based science curriculum for grades K through 12.
The company currently offers six courses for elementary students: Exploring Creation with Astronomy, Exploring Creation with Botany, Exploring Creation with Zoology 1: Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day, Exploring Creation with Zoology 2: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day, Exploring Creation with Zoology 3: Land Animals of the Sixth Day, and Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology.
All courses explore science through the basis of God's creation using engaging text and vivid illustrations. Each lesson contains narration activities, notebooking activities, and hands-on activities that use easily accessible materials. The texts are self-contained and do not require use of a teacher's manual.
In Grades 7-12, Apologia offers college prep level science courses, including General Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Biology, Advanced Chemistry, and Marine Biology. Covering a traditional scope and sequence, these texts approach all science through the lens of God's creation.
These courses are also available as CD-ROM versions that contain all of the content in the texts, as well as word pronunciations, videos, and animations. Content is read by the student, and not narrated. For read-aloud editions, MP3 Audio CDs are available.
